Nicole BlandaNicole Blanda earned her Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law. She began her career as an associate at a private firm, representing purchasers and sellers in real estate transactions. She began working in zoning and land use in 2003 on behalf of commercial and residential developers throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. In 2006, Ms. Blanda joined Rivkin Radler’s Real Estate, Zoning and Land Use Practice Group. In this position, she continued to represent commercial and residential developers, handling all aspects of land use applications involving variances, subdivisions, religious land uses, special permits and changes of zone. She also handled applications to the Nassau County Planning Commission, Suffolk County Planning Commission, New York State DEC and the Suffolk County Health Department. She regularly appears in the local District Courts and has litigated Article 78 proceedings, SEQRA challenges, declaratory judgment actions and other civil actions before courts in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, as well as the Appellate Division. Ms. Blanda has extensive experience managing all aspects of real estate transactions, including contracts, easement agreements and leases. She has also performed legal services on behalf of municipalities, including the Town of Huntington and the Village of Patchogue. In 2010, Ms. Blanda started a law firm with her partners, Joseph Buzzell and Tara Visconti, where she continues to handle real estate and zoning matters, as well as landlord/tenant matters and litigation matters. Ms. Blanda is a member of the Melville Chamber of Commerce and is a Committee Member of the Melville Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group. |
